EXPERIENCE DESIGN T-MOBILE TEXAS LEGACY

challenge

Create an OOH installation on the patio of the Legacy East T-Mobile store that is visible from the street to draw people into the store.

solution

Our installation at the T-Mobile store creates an unofficial rivalry between Legacy West and Legacy East installations while including an element of T-Mobile has America's largest and fastest 5G network.

building a large structural 5G that is both a sign and a space that improves the experience of the patio.
5G PLAYGROUND. a large-scale structure that lets light and air travel through freely while creating a shaded space.
PLAYGROUND FAR FAR AWAY. Constructed using cord or a material that can create a large-scale structure.
BRANDED FROM ALL VIEWS
PLAYGROUND IN AND OUT. We would do so by using mesh or cord to create the walls and shape, supported by a solid framework.
Include fun and unexpected interactions within the area and inside the structure: Benches / Swings / Games

build an artistic installation that tells that story in a tech-forward and eye-grabbing way. more 5G bars in more places.
an amazing space to explore and photograph. an anamorphic screen on which to run 5G content and invite interaction.
beat. movement. color. Collectively, the columns create an anamorphic creek that is visible from the nearby street.
tech forward. Spacing the LED columns out allows visitors to walk through them and access the store and patio area.
The digital screens could be programmed to be interactive using a PWA or with motion sensors.

a large pop-art inspired installation on the patio and in front of the store.
GOES BIG. We’d create a flock of 5G devices with live screens that seem to defy gravity and surround the store.
This would pick up on the larger-than-life work of artists like Claus Oldenburg, but add a bit of tech and interactivity.

build off of our Texas-sized star on the patio to create an artistic and eye-catching display.
BIG TEX TECH. Large-scale metal structures. Use channel LED lighting to glow them up at night.
This direction picks up on some of the modern takes on classic roadside signage.

an attention-getting and disruptive display using unexpected objects. Let's bring energy to legacy east!
The form of the phone booths could vary from a classic vintage style UK phone box to a glowing 70s era.
The field of magenta phone booths would be interactive. We would illuminate them to be an attractor at night.
step in and hear the voice of someone explaining 5G. Or telling a funny 5G story. Maybe you can record your own message.
